Design And Implementation Of The Computer Aided Test System

With the spreading and application of computer technology, computer network keeps developing and improving. The segment of teaching—computerization in examination have caught everybody's eyes more and more.The tradition method of examination must deal with many procedures such as creating test questions, printing test papers, organizing examination room, invigilation and judging test papers. So it is low efficient and has to take a very long period to be finished, some subjective factors may harm the fairness of examination. The computer aided test system is the important link of the computer-assisted instruction. It will deduce the factor that people bring in mind subjectively and organize the test safely, more quickly and more impersonal. The computer aided test system can promote the teaching quality and efficiency. Today, It has been apply for all kind of examination.The computer aided test system with the Oriented Object Programming (OOP) technology, the technique of UML modeling, ActiveX Data Object (ADO), Structured Query Language (SQL), and using Visual Basic 6.0 as exploiting tool & using Access 2000 as background database. It provides a relatively complete solution of common examinations without paper, and it has many useful functions including the creation of database, the edit for the questions with test paper, the random creation of test paper, the terminal interface of examinee, and the automatic stat scores.The article describes the process of function analysis, design and implementation of system in details, and introduces some key technology of the software.
