Design Of A Smart Pressure Transmitter With FF Bus Function

Along with the growing technique of Fieldbus, the traditional control systemsteps into a new phase, which is Fieldbus control system (FCS). In order to meet therequirement of local instrument and meter by FCS, It is significant and urgent todevelop a smart pressure transmitter with fieldbus function.This paper gives the introduction for designing processs of smart pressuretransmitter with digitizing communication in FF fieldbus network protol. Meanwhile,affected by the change of the environment temperature, the temperaturecompensation circuit must be added to the design of pressure transmitter for reducingmeasure error. The author also utilized data fusion method in the equalize relationbetween temperature and pressure.The first part is about FF fieldbus, including its feature, technical specificationand FF fieldbus protocol. The second part is about the hardware design, including thesensor module, the communication module, transmit and receive signal module andthe power module. The third part is about the software design, including dataacquisition and fieldbus communication. The fourth part is about experimentationand data analysis. The last part is about the conclusion of the paper and a prospectabout the improvement and perfection of the instrument.
