Differ from traditional wireless communication technology, UWB is anon-carrier wave communication technology, which coveres extremely wideband, in which band there are many other wireless communication systems,so it becomes especially important for UWB to coexist with extant wirelesscommunication systems. It is one of a key factors to reduce interferencein existing communication system.To reduce the interference, which is always hotspot after UWB has beenreleased for civilian use. This thesis consider the most elementaryphase—UWB's pulse design. Due to the problem, researchers have done manystudies and brought forward many methods, such as Gauss pulse,Hermiteorthogonalpulse,Scholtz's pulse. Although these methods have beenameliorated step by step, they can't satisfy technical request of UWB'swide application. Besides, trivial computation and complex configuration,which can't meet UWB's simple, efficient characteristics.This thesis is based on inheriting anciently other design, whichintroduced a special function-APSWF to design appropriate pulse waveformfor UWB, the arithmetic set out from frequency field, which can orderUWB's spectrum satisfy FCC's spectrum mask confine firstly, thenthrough inverse Fourier transform, return to time-field. Because of thefunction's particularity, which can order UWB's pulse waveform meetingnot only "time limited" but also "band limited" under the control ofparameter c. This pulse design method can satisfy the widely use of UWBunder the circumstance of coexistence with extant wireless communicationsystem.
