This paper firstly introduces the birth background and the sense of the Coal Sampling Machine for Power Plants. Analyses and improvements the old product's performances through fulfill the project of vehicle sampling machine for Sichuan xuyong Coal Company. Analyses the motion characteristic of the sampling part of the machine, and find out the relative motion relationship. And discuses the fuzz theory and its use in control system, discuss the neural net work theory and its use in control system, and specially introduce the fuzz PID and neural net work PID method and models together with the classical PID control. At the same time, the paper generalizes the study of the mechanical and electrical systems in brief. Then introduce the electronic control system and PLC control system of the sampling machine in detail, and gives the available code for communicate PLC with industry computer because these code is designed in one separate file. At last introduce the interface of the supervisory control system, the program design for IC card and for video collection. In addition, the paper introduces and discusses the whole design idea, key techniques and the experience obtained in the process. This design integrates some modern control devices, such as industrial control computer, PLC, IC card reader, video collection. All of these are of some reference value to the design of relative machines and industrial control systems.
