The J2ME also has some excellence characteristics such as the"write once, run anywhere","stable and security","open and extendable easily". With the prevalence of the terminal devices which can support the J2ME technology, the J2ME becomes a preferred platform for the embedded and the mobile application developments.This article focuses on the technology of developing the mobile games with the J2ME platform, especially designing and implementing the key technique during the J2ME mobile games evolution. Mainly content as follow:1. Research and discuss the function of the platform of J2ME and the development status of mobile application based on the J2ME in and out our country.2. Research and discuss the speciality and architecture of the J2ME platform, especially the configuration of CLDC and MIDP. The evolution of Game API has also been discussed deeply.3. Discuss the development and classification of the mobile game, research and discuss the key technique of the mobile game development, including performance optimization, interaction design and migration issue between different J2ME versions.4. Present a general development frame for mobile game with J2ME, which greatly improves the game development efficiency. By research of the screen scroll principle, we carry out the function of background alternation according to the game role to expand the role's active space, thus enhance the game's interest. We provide the GameRMS as a storage class, apply a special technique in data accessing and storage, thus greatly improve the efficiency of class data storage, especially when the accessing data is a huge block.5.
