As the size of network has more and more expanded, and the network technologies were quickly developed, the significance in network management was more and more outstanding. The five primary functions of NM includes configuration management,performance management,fault management,security management,accounting management. They do their duties in each and supplement each other too. To increase the function and improve the capability of network management system that is very important for upgrading the value of existing networks, and it will also enhance telecom carriers' core competence.Fault management is an important part of network management. And its difficulty is diagnosing a fault. Meanwhile, in the face of "alarm storm", how to use this great numbers of alarm data became a focal problem. That is to say, discover the useful information from those data, and then diagnose and prognosis the fault of networks. So analyzing alarms with correlation analysis technology is an important and difficult problem in NM.Establishment of the integrated network management system is another important and difficult problem in NM technologies. Telecom carriers hope to control the network in the circumstance of many manufacturers. Because of this, some new technologies such as middleware and three-layer were applied to the network management system. This thesis talks about the two problems above, and bases on two projects: "A Mobile alarm correlation analysis system" and "CNC 3G integrated network management system". Author introduces the design and core techniques of alarm correlation analysis and integrated network management systems.Organized by different modules, both of two systems' architectures are clear and extensible. Based on the theory of much correlation analysis mining arithmetic, the former system combines theory and application together. During data import,pre-process and mined, correlation rules can be discovered from large amounts of alarm data. This paper mainly describes the data-import and FP-growth arithmetic,relative results. Based on tradition NM structure, Tuxedo technology has been imported into the latter system. Then the functional layer separated from GUI and network element interface layer. This can reduce the load of clients, and the data are more security. This paper talks the design and implement of the commutation sub-module.
