Design And Implementation Of Software System For Remote Wireless ECG Monitoring Based On PDA

With powerful computing ability and integration with wireless communication module such as blue tooth and GPRS/CDMA, PDA play a more and more important role in field of medical treatment. Comparing with traditional Holter system, the advantage of ECG Remote Monitor system is the ability to help doctor to obtain patients'ECG more quickly and completely, which make it be more suitable to monitor heart disease which is chronic but come on all of a sudden. If PDA is introduced to this system, to obtain patients'real-time ECG will be more conveniently. PDA provides a mobile and convenient information process service to doctors. With the help of PDA, doctors can obtain patients'ECG anytime and everywhere.PDA software System of Real-time ECG Monitoring is a subsystem of ECG Remote Monitor system. In this paper, the role of PDA software System plays in ECG Remote Monitor system is introduced firstly, and then the architecture of PDA software system. Thirdly, communication model and communication protocol of the system are described. And in the following text, the design methods, work flow, key technology of each sub-module is described in detail.The research achievements are as follows:1. Design and implement of PDA real-time and remote monitor, which provide a new ECG monitor mode.2. ECG data and control information network transfer control protocol in application layer between PDA and ECG service is designed to ensure request of data transfer: real-time, safely, integrality.3. Several algorithms of ECG computer auto analyze are researched and implement in the both case: real-time monitor and review .These algorithms are simple enough for PDA which hardware equipment is much weaker than PC. 4. Design and implement all of the sub-modules.5. Finally, the problems during the design are summarized. The further development of the PDA ECG Remote Monitor is expected.
