Semiconductor gas sensors which were widely used in many fields are researched in this project, the testing technology for this kind of sensors is behind other countries, so the use of these sensors is limited. Advanced technology in related fields is used in the project, automatic testing for gas sensors is achieved, a testing system that is with USB interface is developed, the problems of inefficiency and low precision for testing semiconductor gas sensors at the present time are resolved. The following work has been done:1. Realize a batch of testing for gas sensors parameters, resolve problems of rapid measurement and can test 50 gas sensors for one time.2. Adopt MSP430F135 which is 16 bit and is a faster single chip as micro- controller, make the system more integrated, achieve a high speed and high-accuracy data collection device.3. Use PDIUSBD12 as the interface chip of USB, enhance the speed and reliability of data transmission, and bring some convenience for upgrade the hardware in the future.4. Program the multifunctional software with VC++, which is convenient for operating, upgrading and maintaining. And it can analyze, process, rank, classify, store, print and manage the testing result.The project gives a testing system which consists of four parts: operational environment simulation of gas-sensors, signal regulation, information sampling and data analysis and management. It enhances efficiency and reliability for testing, provides the approach and framework for other similar system.
