China Business Daily is a patriotic democratic newspapers which was founded and led by the Chinese Communist Party during the Anti-Japanese War. It was published in the form of a united front in Hong Kong. It inaugurated on April 8,1941,and in the same year ,as the Pacific war broken out on December 12 and the Japanese troops invaded the Kowloon , it stopped publishing on its own initiative, publishing a total of 249.In specific areas and specific historical background conditions, this newspaper published from the actual conditions and uphold the Party's propaganda policy, outstandingly completing the task of propagandizing the unity of the anti-Japanese, calling for democracy and the establishment of an international anti-fascist united front.This paper is divided into five parts.1.The background of China Business Daily.Reflected in two aspects, the domestic and international situation, and excellent geographical conditions,a favorable political environment,the foundation for culture laid by the China Communist in Hong Kong, the enthusiastic support of the Hong Kong Chinese, which are all the favorable conditions in Hong Kong for its publishing.2. This paper argues that China Business Daily has three main directions of public opinions: criticizing the autocratic and devoting to democracy, propagandizing the Sino-Japanese War and asking for foreign aid, establishing the front and resisting aggression.4. Two major mistakes of the international commentary. On one hand, during the development of the situation in World War II , China Business Daily had extreme forecast; on the other hand,there had been errors of judgment. Firstly, it did not expect that after occupying half of the of Europe, German took the risk of doing two battles to attack on the USSR; Secondly,in the issue of Japan going north or south, it tended to expect that Japan would move north into the Soviet Union,and not wage war on the United States from south.5.
