The mini X-ray machine is employed widely in the field of Nondestructive Testing. It can be applied not only in the safety detection of post office, bus stop, large-scale movement, but also in the town and community for the basic medical treatment of the grass roots. The writer made study and improvement on mini portable X-ray machine with the reference of its actuality and trend.The thesis falls into four partsChapter one serves as a brief introduction to state the current situation of ultra-mini X-Ray machine's research both at home and abroad. It then involves the purpose and significance of this research. Nowadays, the problem of safety has been drawing attention in different countries. In this case, X-Ray machine has become one of the necessary means in the safety detection. With the situation above-mentioned, the aim of this research is to excogitate a kind of mini-X-Ray machine, which is portable, and make powerful contribution in the field of engineering application and safety detection.Chapter two gives a brief introduction to the property and protection of X-Ray. The production of X-Ray, the component of X-Ray machine, X-Ray duct, the direct current pressure and the characteristic of single-chip processor employed in control circuit are illustrated as the background information for the later elaboration's sake.Chapter three deals with the design for the current control circuit of direct current generator and controlling filament. Then make a description of the experiment in details. In this chapter the design and application of actuating circuit of high voltage generator are presented. The single chip processor is the core of inbuilt system employed in current control circuit, in this way the volume of the system has been minished and a good foundation for the intelligentization of the whole system has been set. In the experiment, the researcher made meticulous comparison on the experimental data under the effect of the actuating circuit employed in the high voltage generator. The result is that the adoption of actuating circuit meets the practical needs of the X-Ray machine.Chapter four deals with the modularized design for the compose of ultra-mini X-Ray machine on the basis of the concept of modularized design. Then the production would be debugged according to experimental data obtained in the experiment in order that the ultra-mini X-Ray machine and controlling circuit would be improved and perfected, in which way the assume effect would be meliorated. In this way, the improvement of the structure and techinics predigested the distribution of the system, made the system compact and advanced the portable capability of the product.Chapter five draw a conclusion of the whole thesis.In the process of the whole research, the practical and late-model patent has been achieved. The successfully developed sample has been applied by Hitachi, which has been supporting the research, in Japan and has been proved to been effective and excellent.
