Recently, as advances in capability of mobility, wireless communication and storage of portable devices such as laptop computers, palmtop computers, mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs) have got wide and deep application, especially in military fields. Since the openness of wireless links and the particularity of military application, secure routing in MANETs is much more important.MANETs are a kind of multi-hop wireless networks without centralized administration, in which nodes perform routing discovery and routing maintenance in a self-organized way. Due to some of its characteristics such as the absence of infrastructure, frequent changes in network topology, openness of wireless links, no way to detect and isolate misbehaving nodes, and lack of self-stabilization property,MANETs are prone to be unstable and vulnerable.Secure Global State Routing (GSR) for mobile ad hoc networks is responsible for securing the discovery and distribution of link state information. Our goal is to provide correct (i.e., factual),up-to-date,and authentic link state information, robust against Byzantine behavior of individual nodes. The proposed binding of the MAC strengthens the robustness of our scheme,by disallowing nodes from appearing as multiple ones at the data link layer, and by assisting in protection against flooding DoS attacks. In order to guarantee the responsiveness of the routing protocol, nodes maintain a priority ranking of their neighbors according to the rate of queries observed by Neighbor Lookup Protocol. The highest priority is assigned to the nodes generating (or relaying) requests with the lowest rate and vice versa.low-priority queries are eventually discarded. The protocol SGSR is simulated by Network Simulator (NS2).NS2 realize two parts of SGSR: Neighbor Lookup Protocol and Link State Update Protocol .From the result, we can see that SGSR increased secure scheme is similar to GSR,and put up with this condition that the consumpation of SGSR is clearly more than GSR.Secure Dynamic Source Routing Protocol(S-DSR) proposes the new reputation systems. It updates the node's rating by listening in neighbor's behavour and exchanging information with the others within the network. the user can decide the secure request by itself, and the protocol present concretely how to listen in neighbor's behavour and exchang information with the others within the networks. We present that a security routing protocol S-DSR based on reputation systems can be used in ad hoc networks.
