| With the development of multimedia information, the telecommunication network, CATV and Internet infecting and converging with each other becomes a certain direction of network development. HFC network which is developed based on CATV has advantages in bandwidth, content and overcast. However, HFC funnel noise affects the advantage of HFC. New type HFC network overcomes the funnel noise effectively. It has a lot of advantages, such as wider useable bandwidth, the ability of offering mutual broad band multimedia service, less inexpensive devices of net and users, etc.Service Information System which is designed in the paper is based on the new type HFC network. The data to be processed by the Service Information System is the Service Information, including the PSI in the MPEG-2 and the SI in the DVB.Firstly, correlative protocols are analyzed and studied. The information according to the actual condition of the Service Information System is filtered. This step makes preparations for following design. And then, network condition is improved after analyzing existing network condition and combining work style and problems of Integated Service Terminal. This scheme effectively saves net bandwidth, predigests works of Integrated Service Terminal and saves Terminal's resources.Service Information System's function demand and problems which need to solve are analyzed in the paper. In the project, the Service Information System is divided into four modules: receiving module, parsing module, SI database system module and database management module. The full design scheme of the Service Information System is provided and feasibility of the project is demonstrated. At the same time, design environment, design method and design tools are studied.Afterward, the characteristics demand and realization method of each module and SI database are traversed separately. Programming and proving are accomplished. Experiment results are also given in the paper. The results show that the design scheme is correct. The design effect attains expectant intention.In the paper, there are two innovative works. The first one is improving the network environment. Through analyzed working mode of each equipment and hardware resources in the network, a new plan is put forward. The key point of the plan is to put a management server into network. Service Information which is treated in each Integrated Service Terminal can be treated uniformly. Process efficiency of SI can be advanced. Net bandwidth can be saved. At the same time, problems of Integrated Service Terminal can be solved. The second one is the adoption of Hash algorithm during section transaction process in parsing module. This improvement enhances comparing speed and solves the problem of buffer overflow. |
