Research On Access Control Technology Of Workflow Management System

Workflow Management System (WfMS) is an important component of OA. Composing a secure Workflow Management System can assure the security of information for military office effectively and has an important meaning for promoting the workflow technology. In this paper, we analyze and summarize the correlative technology of Workflow Management System. Based on the study of existing WfMS, we bring forward a secure Workflow Management System frame with secure characteristic, and research on the technology of process modeling and access control theoretically and practically. Primary innovative work in this paper can be summarized as follows:1) Based on the Workflow Management System reference model and Workflow Management System frame presented by Wil Va Der Aalst, Wei-kuang Huang ect, we construct a secure Workflow Management System frame with secure characteristic.2) Aiming at the disadvantages of task-based workflow process model, we analyze role-based workflow process model, add the concept of role to workflow process model which bases on object Petri Net, and construct a role-based object Petri Net of workflow model (WOPN).3) Based on WOPN we propose an extended role-based workflow access control model (E-WACM), and describe and reason the model using first-order logical program, then we reason and validate the access control and authorization constraint using its minimal model semantic and ideal model semantic.4) W-Based on the above research, We present processs definition module, authorization module and access control module of secure workflow management prototype system, and describe the design and implementation of the processs definition module, authorization module and access control module in detail.
