Research Of Virtual Assembly System Based On The Division Software

The work of this paper comes from the Ministry of Education science technique point research item "Virtual prototype research on the Reflector Antenna". The virtual assembly system is studied based on the DIVISION software of commercialization virtual prototype to solve the problem of high cost,long period and low efficiency of the traditional assemble operations. The virtual reality technology is used and the virtual assembly environment is built to simulate the process of assembly. The design period is shorted and the assembly efficiency is raised.The basic principles and domestic-overseas present status of virtual assembly are introduced in this paper. The applications in the industry of automobile,airplane and the electronics equipments,particular the radar antenna are summarized. DIVISION software is developed by C++Builder. It carried out 5DT data glove and flock of bird connecting the software and controlling the hand model in mockup. The assemble principles and the process of resolving it is studied which is directed by assemble force in the virtual environment. Finally,the products'virtual assembly is also described in this paper.
