Research And Implementation On MMS Content-based Image Retrieval System

With the rapid development of multimedia technology and computer networks, the number of digital image is increasing at an alarming rate. Especially in the popular mobile business MMS(Multimedia Messaging Service)age, there are a large number of MMS image retrieval and transmission every day, these digital image contains a lot of useful information. However, because these images are disorderly distributed throughout the world, the information in the image can not be effectively accessed and used. Therefore, the most important problem to facing is how to get the required information efficiently, quickly and accurately from MMS images data.Because traditional image retrieval is based on the Notes text retrieval method, there are many shortcomings such as overload manual annotation work, subjective and imprecise text annotation and so on, and it has been far from being able to meet demand, and does not meet the user's MMS demand. In order to overcome the deficiencies of traditional image retrieval technology, we should extract the image content comprehensively, generally and objectively. The technology of Content-Based Image Retrieval, CBIR has appeared.In this paper, the Object-Based Image MMS Retrieval System is a new generation of information retrieval technologies which combines the image retrieval and search MMS, this paper introduces the concept of popular object-based Image Retrieval System, as well as MMS application to the field of Search working principle. Based on the Object-based image retrieval, we add the region to the image of the object recognition process. Then we save recognition results in image attributes indexed database, and we based on user input example pictures and the search request in the process of retrieval, then the search results will eventually return to a user, the user will send it to his MMS users through the MMS equipment.
