| The wild animal and plant industry is an important component of China's forestry industry. Yet the information management of this industry is still being in the traditional manual operation stage with weak management technology and poor system, affecting the efficiency of data analysis and decision-making level. In this paper, a countrywide wild animal and plant industry information management system on Web was developed, in order to timely and accurately grasp the trend of wild animal and plant industry and provide an effective means and a scientific decision-making evidence for the department to manage, protect, and guide usage of the wild animal and plant resources, thus realizing the scientific management of this industry.The object-oriented method was used to analyze and design this system. Digitization and internetization of functions, such as data, report forms, statistical analysis and so on, were realized. And key functions including data entry, verification, collection, query, analysis, transmission were implemented, through which the massive manual operation work can be done easily with a 90 percent workload reduce. While the work efficiency being substantially improved, the scientific nature and accuracy of collection statistics and result analysis are also enhanced in this system.Visual Studio 2005 was adopted for system development platform, ASP.NET2.0 for development language, and SQL Server 2005 for background database support. B/S architectural pattern was used in this system. In software design the classic MVC three-tier architecture was adopted. |
