| With the development of Video compression standard and the embedded processor, the video monitor system is becoming more and more digital. Its basic feature is that it uses the Internet and the high performance of the embedded processor to the compression coding standard, which has high coding efficiency, to achieve high compression ratio and high performance under narrow band width. This digital system is widely used in fields of security, production and military affairs.The major function of the embedded network video monitor is that it transforms the analog signals to the digital signals which are needed in compression processing, compresses in the central processor, and save the data to local memory or upload to the network.This thesis introduces a design of an embedded network video monitor system according to MPEG-4 compression standard, which is based on ADSP-BF533 embedded processor. It expatiates on the systematic ensemble architecture and characteristic, basic frame and every part of the hardware, and providing the methods of driver developing. Then this article discusses the features of ADSP-BF533 processor, the MPEG-4 compression coding translating, the code optimization, the memory spaces assignment, and the realization of the network protocol. Lastly, this paper provides the summarization of the work and the content of the future research. |
