Marx once said that modern science and technologies could not coexist with traditional myths. For the same reason, at present, the context of industrialization, globalization and informationization also interrupts the continuity of history and ideologies of feudal society. It is strange that those kings and their generals and ministers who should be covered with dust become the most vigorous protagonists in TV plays and movies. And the level of their vigor can not be compared with that of the age of printing. Why do the people in "E-age" love history so much? And what aspects do they concentrate on the history? With seriously considering on these questions, we will find that the prevalent "nostalgic sensibilities" do not pay attention to renovate the true pictures of history or elucidate historical spirits. What they interest in is to extract and process historical stories. Here, people care more about pursuing entertainment than the exactness of historical facts. A new protagonist, consumption, occupies the place where once was won by literature and politics. Lecture Shows on the TV are brought about under such conditions which are the products of logic of consumption on history and also the reflection on the validity of the logic. The passage tries to make clear the cognition about the phenomena of historical consumption by analyzing lecture shows on TV.
