Design And Realization Of The Graduate Student Oral Defense System

In recent years, the total of graduate students unceasinglyincreases. The educational administration management is not suitablewith the traditional manual way. The graduate student oral defense isthe key link to the educational administration management. If itrealizes information, the management way will reduce work load, enhancethe efficiency and avoid occurrence of mistakes. Therefore, it isessential to design the graduate student oral defenses system.Firstly, formerly, this kind of system use C/S mode. the C/S modeneed not only program massively in the client but also service andupgrade later. Web Service use the message passing in the network tobe discovered and organized dynamically. The campus management systemmay use WEB SERVICE in the network to optimize and upgrade themanagement system.Secondly, the oral defense Arrangement is the key problem in thedesign of the system. It is belong to the application of curriculumarrangement problem. The theory and the practice indicate as long as any information of the schedule slightly changes, it will cause thesharp increase of the selection scheme of curriculum arrangement,namely "pattern shooting". This affects directly to find the solutionof curriculum arrangement, so we make effort to simplify the complexityof curriculum arrangement, introduce the algorithm of Time-BitmapMatching and faster find the solution process.The system is based on the algorithm of Time-Bitmap matching, usesthe development platform of VB. NET and SQL Server2000 and uses thestructure of WEB SERVICE. First, the paper briefly introduces thearchitecture and characteristic of WEB SERVICE, and interprets themeaning of using of WEB SERVICE. Second, the paper makes a thoroughexamination of the Algorithm of the oral defense of arranging timetablebased on Time-Bitmap Matching, and describes operational theory andrule of the algorithm of Time-Bitmap matching. Thirt, the papercompletes the design of the graduate student oral defense system basedon the algorithm of Time-Bitmap matching. The paper analyses anddesigns the education and oral defense of the graduate studentsprocess. Last, the paper gives a brief introduction to the developmentplatform and represents the graduate student oral defense system(YJSLWSYSTEM) and function module in picture. Lastly, the oral defense system is based on the practicalsituation of our universities, This paper not only discusses theapplication of algorithm of Time-Bitmap matching in the graduatestudent oral defense system but also stresses on the system design andthe application value, The next step of work is unceasingly the perfectsystem in the practical application.
