With the improvement of electronic technology and network technology, for realization of electronic control in-vehicle and the purpose of comfort, security and intelligence, the in-vehicle network has made an obvious development.This paper mainly present the realization and application based on CAN and LIN bus under the above background.This paper introduce the development of auto network and the main protocol currently applied on auto in system, then present the trends of auto network: X-By-Wire, Wireless, Optimize Structure and Uniform Standard. We analyse the CAN and LIN protocol in detail in this paper, and make comparison between them, then We could make the conclusion that LIN will be the standard of low speed because of its property.We describe the typical solution on auto network after the analyzing the protocol, then present the solution based on Freescale 8-bits MCU MC68HC08AZ60A for the seat and rear mirror control system according to the typical solution.After that we describe how to realize the CAN and LIN communication interface, design the gateway system based on the interface and control the sub-module.At last this paper present the low power and self-diagnose design, it provide the valid solution for the actual application.
