| Concerning efficiency and security of police vehicles involved in law enforcement actions, Shanghai juristic system demands a holistic GPS dispatch system for their vehicles. GPS is commonly applied in dispatching system with relatively mature techniques. However, if we take characteristic of juristic system into consideration, there remain certain puzzles to be raveled out so as to adapt the system to the particularity, practically or technically.After research GPS, GIS, GSM and computer data, the author provides a holistic scheme and technique blueprint for GPS dispatch system of Shanghai People's Supreme Court that suits the demands and circumstance of Shanghai juristic system. This essay also gives resolution of synchronization between old and new systems as well as of software development, both of which played a crucial part in implement of the project. China sees extensive application of GPS. However, most of the systems are designed for singular purpose and function in their own ways. Due to these facts, resources and information share is almost impossible. This project not only set up a framework of hardware and software for GPS dispatch system in a complex network, but also absorbed vehicle management into the system, which enables comprehensive use of resouses and information.The completion of this project would serve as reference for similar projects. Hopefully, this project would play its part in conformity of the platform and promoting share of resources and information.GPS dispatch system of Shanghai People's Supreme Court has been in action for six months now. The project is wrapped up. Nevertheless, there are still spaces to optimize the design and to probe into technique details, such as comprehensive application of techniques that concern, especially conformity of multi-platforms and share of resources and information. |
