With the development of electronics technology in recent years, the clock speed of micro-processors and logic circuits on the PCB grows faster and faster, and rise/fall time of the signals grows shorter and shorter. This leads to severe SI & EMC problems in the high-speed digit circuit design. The importance of SI analysis thus loom clearer and clearer, and only by SI analysis can we solve the high-speed system design.This article firstly addresses SI, EMI, ESD issues in high-speed digital video processing system, and summerizes design methods based on SI and EMC analysis including.characteristic impedance, termination, shielding, filtering, grounding and ESD etc.. Then, using Transmission lines theories and working experiences, some case-studies are illustrated and analyzed. Finally, the SI design of digital video processing system is summerized.
