Design And Implementation Of Network Application Performance Management System

Network application performance monitoring and management has become a hot research field of network management. One of the important functions of network management is to monitor network application service effectively, ensure normal operation of application service and lighten the burden of maintenance.This thesis focuses on the network application service. By real-time monitoring the equipments which supply the network application service, collecting and analyzing the data of application service, it achieves all-round, muti-application perspective monitoring to the performance of network application service. The monitor objective mainly includes: Application server, Database, Operating system, Mail server, Web server and all kinds of service. The scope of monitor not only includes the performance parameters of service, such as availability, response time, transfer rate, but also includes hardware and physical attributes of equipments, such as the CPU, memory usage and other information.After the research on network management technology and system, this thesis summarizes the current techonology and its application. Based on this, the thesis finishes the detailed demand analysis and the design of network application performance management system. Finally, this thesis proposes the solution to key modules and achieves main functions of the system.
