| Dalian University of Technology iLab (internet Lab) is an integrated network laboratory based on LabVIEW (Laboratory Virtual Instrument Engineering Workbench) and iLab interactive structure which can complete the real experiments and virtual experiments. The entire network laboratory's structure is C/S/B(Client/Server/Browser) and composed by three distinct functional modules Lab Server, Service Broker and Lab Client. The network laboratory can realize the teaching, operating, administrating in experiments and has good security and extendibility. At present the network laboratory experiments can be divided into two types, real experiments and virtual experiments and the total number of experiments in our lavoratory is over 30, which have covered the fields of Electrical Motor, Building Automation, Electrical Engineering and Electronics Technology. The experience proved that it requires to the teaching of electrical engineering and electronic engineering and can be expanded multi-disciplinary and multi-purpose network laboratory according to the different discipline demands. The ultimate goal of the iLab project is to create a rich set of experiment resources that make it easier for people to operate and acquire much more scientific knowledge. This paper mainly introduced the structure of network laboratory and described some key technology in acquiring and transmiting video data, storing experimental data through LabVIEW to the MySQL database, embeded the central air conditioning experiments system into iLab system in detail. This paper is divided into five parts. Chapter 1 briefly introduces the development of network laboratory in domestic and abroad and the background, purpose, significance in netlab research, also gives the main task of the graduation thesis. Chapter 2 introduces the familiar system structure of the network laboratory and the principle of the MIT(Massachusetts Institute of Technology) iLab experimental system ,also discusses our lab's structure. Chapter 3 explains the software system and hardware system of the network laboratory. Chapter 4 discusses some key questions and the solutions of the lab. Chapter 5 presents some applications of the network laboratory. |
