With rapid construction development of DIGITAL CAMPUS, The application of University Office Automation (UOA) system has became the one of the most important parts in University Resource Planning (URP) program. But with the rapid development of such as hardware , Operator system and the continuous change of needs, the UOA system should be updated at the same time, but it has been proved to be difficult on most of current system that have been put into use. Most of them have become a solid system which is unable to be updated sustainable by the user.To overcome the problem mentioned above, a new UOA system based on .NET platform was designed and implemented. The system was customable by the system manager to meet specific needs. After deciding the items such as user, group and department, some suitable function modules were chosen to form a personal platform. It was creative that the system could be "secondly developed" by each university. With the idea "third class office" and "choosing modules", the UOA could achieve the demand of "usable, extensible, convenient" .The thesis concerns the function modules and prototype interface design .Three layers design method, key technology and using safety are also introduced. The interface of this system is clear and can be used easily by university persons whose computer levels are different from each other. And this can improve office efficiency.The system is running successfully now and has developed some different UOA.
