Along with the continuous deepening of the Armed Police Force informatization, information management software for the functional demand increases. Based on the practical application of the author units, Research on key technologies and software engineering methods,that develop the OSGi framework-based distributed information management system. Design and implement a prototype of the Armed Police's ID management system.The primary contributions of this thesis include:(1) In an overview of Component-based development model and the basic concepts, Analysis of the core content of the OSGi Specification, the development of technical features and advantages in OSGi framework.(2) Based on the analysis of armed police ID management business, we design an OSGi-based ID management system and Composed of components. The system include server and client. Server components include database services component, ID management business component, Web application services component and remoting call services component; Client components include interface component and remoting call client component.(3) We research and implement the prototype of ID management system. The major solution include JBossRemoting and db4o database components used in the OSGi framework, Web application Component using embedded web server and SWT/JFace building Graphical User Interface. The ID management application development based on the OSGi framework verify the effectiveness and scalability.Component-based software development provides a standardized form of the components and a unified development methods. The prototype of OSGi framework-based ID management system vertify the technological advantages of component. It provide references and supports for follow-up works and same application development.
