A Research On The University Collaborative Management System Based On Workflow

As the information technology in university has been rapidly developed,various departments have mature management system of their own.Each of these systems is independence.People can't share the data effectively,and the information in each system is isolated.To solve this problem,the thesis has researched on the status and technology of collaborative software,which based on workflow,in China and foreign market.Therefore,researching and designing a collaborative school administration system have great meaning to university.If this kind of system can be materialized and carried out,the information-based construction in university will be raised to a new level.The technology of workflow had been applied to many fields as a new area of research.For example,it had be applied to the information management of the business,the government administration of the electronic,the office automation,the production-manufacturing,the concurrent engineering and so on,it's the core technology of achieving the modeling,optimization,process management,integration and ultimately the automation of business process.It provides the automatic implement and the analysis of the flow,the real-time monitor and the track of the instances,and other functions.The construction of information management systems based on the technology of the workflow must achieve some goals as follows.On the one hand,the information sharing,the automatic collaborate and the process of the flow in the computer must be achieved.On the other hand,the users can easily analyze the flow of the business processes of the enterprises,find out the unreasonable,and give the proposal of the reforming rapidly.Using the technology of workflow,the work can be broke down and be definite good task and role,then the tasks can be carried out according to some certain rules and processes,under some controls,so it can improve their efficiency,reduce the costs of production,improve the management level of the enterprises and the speed of the reaction,it also the goal of using the technology.First,the thesis analyze the features of school administration in university and the application instance of school administration system,and expounds the meaning of researching and designing the collaborative systems.Second,the thesis gives a brief account of related technology and theory in collaborative school administration systems.It also gives a profound analysis of the status and the trends of collaborative systems and the technology of the workflow in-depth,and the function,the architectures,the interfaces,the reference models and other theoretical knowledge of the workflow information management systems.The thesis then sums up the excellence of workflow management system.Finally,combining the theory with present condition in university,the thesis put forwards the overall design of this system,which for evaluation of the title of a technical post in university:The system designed by the Web application system of the Struts framework based on J2EE MVC model.The structure can effectively separate the function modules of operational logic,the control of the program and the demonstrate of the data,the respective modules can be developed concentrative without fear of arbitrary coupled,it can improve the flexibility of the application program,and the development of an entire system are easy integration,ease of maintenance and upgrading.And,the introduction of the technology of digital signature can ensure that the digital signatures of the workflow engines have the same legal effect.The kernel of the collaborative school administration system are that how to design workflow management module and how to get different data from different database and systems.
