| With the development of information society, the information productivity growths at high speed. How to find valuable information for people in the tremendous amount of information has become an extremely important problem. The developing information retrieval technology provides a solution to the problem.The information retrieval technology based on ontology is the emphasis of the present research. In essentially, ontology is the description of the relations between objective existing concepts, so the information retrieval technology based on ontology provides semantic matching which makes up for the flaw of the traditional information retrieval technology based on keywords. It is better at recall and precision of the query result.Firstly, the paper gives some analysis to actuality of information retrieval, puts forward the primary issue of study on ontology-based information retrieval system. Then based on expounding the theory of ontology and information retrieval, an ontology-based system framework of information retrieval are proposed. And the function and retrieval process are expounded in detail. In the model, semantic index terms can be acquired by ontology. The logical views of documents and user's information needs, generated in terms of these semantic index terms, can represent documents and user's information needs well. So the performance of information retrieval can be improved effectively.Finally, the paper makes a deeply research on the key technologies of system, including ontology constructing method, ontology-based query pretreatment technology and semantic processing technology. The paper compares and analyzes the present ontology constructing methodology, puts forward a integrated method of ontology constructing .constructs an example by ontology constructing implement; it studies the algorithm of similarity and relevance of conceptions for the problem of intelligent query.Then the system is simply verified and analysed by the experiment. |
