The Research Of The System Performance Testing And Optimizing Strategy Of The Remote Education Based On WEB

With the coming of the information age, the updating cycle of knowledge has become more and more short-lived. How to make the teaching and training meet the need of those who want to study whenever or wherever they like. Compared with the traditional way of education, which is diminished in this area, the modern remote education takes a advantage of making the students interact with the teachers and complete their task of studying more easily in different places and time. Combined Computer Assisted Instruction(CAI) with Internet, the remote education has become the new trend of the development of modern education.This article is based on the remote educational system in Educational Department of DALI. According to the needs to improve the function of the system in practice, by using WEB testing, getting the information of main network equipment, the bandwidth, the response time and the capacity of the network. After recording, adding up and analyzing the information of how the system works, we get report of the system testing. With the report we can design the best optimizing strategy. After optimizing the system, we can test it again and optimize it again until we get a complete, convenient and correct plan, serving the remote education well. The article puts forwards testing ways, testing models and testing cases after optimizing the system with software testing methods. The purpose of the testing remote educational system is to find out the bottleneck of system function, as well as its cause, helping to optimize the system. We test and analyze the system step by step, trying to find out whether the bottleneck is in server or in the network. If it is in the network, we need to optimize it, such as the structure of the remote educational system , router, the capacity of switch, the transfer mode, the bandwidth. If it is in server, we should also settle the problem step by step.Because the research is a complex project and we should do it step by step. I took part in the original design and building of the remote educational system of DALI. During this time, by analyzing the ordinary remote educational system in DALI, by studying WEB remote educational testing practice, and by researching the optimizing strategy of the system, I , together with other team members did a lot of studying, looking up information, testing, etc. As a result, with the help of other great achievement, we finally got a complete theory, forming a proper base of the further development of remote education.
