The Algorithm And Its Realization Of Signal Acquisition And Image Processing Of Tomato Color Sorter

Based on the point that tomatoes have different colours, in order to sort red tomatoes out of the other ones, the paper desgins a new type of colour sorter: color sorter for tomato. This paper introduces the operating principle and working process of the typical color sorter as well as the status of major types of color sorters at home and abroad. The tomato color sorter designed in this paper bases its photoelectric detection system on the TMS320LC549 DSP, uses the linear CCD, IL-P3-B, as tomato light intensity receiver, and applies MCU to controll the sorting system.The detailed parts in this paper include the optical imaging, the space structure of the optical system, the choice of CCD and its driving circuit, the appliance of FIFO device, the high speed A/D conversion, the appliance of translating transceiver, and the design of the DSP-based circuit.Besides of that, this paper also details the data acquisition process and the design principle of software. By making use of the difference of RGB in bitmap files and programs to tomato's images, the Matlab software has carried out the software programming on the CCD acquisition image of static state tomatoes, and has processed the images to the full extent,and has carried on the analysis to the red tomato's gradation histogram, according to the red tomato's halftone characteristic, separated out the normal with other unqualified tomato.The characteristic agriculture equipment was already decided as the Xinjiang University mechanical institute"eleven five"the development project and"211"the discipline construction key direction, the agricultural product color elects with the isolation technique is also key one. As a result of software and hardware condition's and so on test equipment insufficiencies, this research work whole was in just started the stage, this article research work belongs under an existing condition exploration.
