| Virtual machining is a very important part in systematized techniques about virtual Manufacturing .It requests a 3D virtual machining environment which supplies panoramic, integrated simulation and analysis for the processing of product so as to evaluate the rationality of machining process parameters and the machining quality of product.In this paper, a reconfigurable and extendable Virtual Machining architecture is put forward based on the detail analysis of the request for Virtual Machining made by Virtual Manufacturing.The key technologies related to realize virtual machining are also discussed, among which the modeling of reconfigurable Virtual Machining Environment is the base and the difficult point. The embodiment of the contributions may be summarized as follows.In order to implement the modeling of reconfigurable Virtual Machining Environment, an efficient virtual machining environment hierarchical modeling method supporting reconfiguration is put forward based on analysis of requirements and characteristics of reconfigurable 3D virtual machining environment modeling.Three subjects of the modeling of reconfigurable Virtual Machining Environment including: Firstly, geometry modeling of reusable part and component; Secondly, modeling of virtual machining device; Thirdly, design of data management system in reconfigurable Virtual Machining Environment, are studied and configured by Object-Oriented method in detail.Using program with Visual Basic 6.0 language and software Solidworks which widely used in three-dimensional design and simulation, to abstract and transfer the assembly model information,create a reconfigurable virtual assembly system part database to inquire and reconfigure the virtual assembly part. After the revision,We also can reassemble them in the Solidworks environment by Solidworks API and VB program. According to these theories we have developed a reconfigurable Virtual Machining Environment System of Machining Center in our lab.Base on the above study, universal virtual machining simulation and analysis were set up in this paper and a case also introduced in it. |
