Asiavision In The View Of Regional Communication

From the beginning of the 1970s and 1980s, the war in order to obtain the order of news and communication has never stopped. But the pattern of communication has not be changed among the tendency of globalization, and disadvantaged information is still immersed in strong information.In the situation, the regional broadcasting organizations such as European Broadcasting Union and Asian Broadcasting Union make the "balanced, bilateral communication" possible in a certain extent. In the current complicated networks of international communication news exchange of Asiavision, as a typical model, provides a new way for international, inter-regional and intercultural communication. Therefore, the thesis analyzes Asiavision deeply under the sight of regional communication in order to explore the effects of news exchange on media and national images. These are the background and signification of the study.The second chapter introduces several major regional broadcasting and television organizations, the current status of Asiavision and its mode of communication, and sums up the content and characteristics of news exchange.In the third chapter, the author analyzes the effects of news exchange, points out the difficulties in the development of Asiavision and explores its deep reasons by analyzing its differences on the society, culture, economy, the state ideology and news value view of the different countries in Asia.In the fourth chapter, the thesis tries to to explore a new way for Asiavision by analyzing its own development and the internal and external reasons of Eurovision. The author holds that the attitude of covergence in news exchange would help two sides or multi-sides achieve balanced and bilateral communication.The last but the most important, the thesis pays much attention to the practical signification of Asiavision. It is an important and effective platform for Chinese media to send our own voice to the world, which is of great signification to build the Chinese images of media and nation in the whole world. From a global perspective, the news exchange would become the new force in the formation of news order, which would make balanced and bilateral communication possible.
