The thesis is based on the background that the AC servo system is more and more widely applied in the industry, aerospace, military and other fields. Studies of the thesis mainly focus on the implementation and simulation analysis of the AC servo drive system, as well as the control structure and strategy of the AC servo drive system. Any useful results for the practical application and implementation of the servo drive system are the aim of this thesis.Firstly, the principle of the permanent magnet AC servo system is presented, the mathematical models of the AC servo system consisting of permanent magnet synchronous motor and the servo drivers is established farther, as a result the practical analysis model is deduced on the point of engineering applications.Secondly, the principle of the vector control and the realization of the SVPWM (space vector pulse width modulation) are presented. Then the simulation models of the vector control system with PMSM (permanent magnet synchronous motor) are put forward on the basis of MATLAB, and the validity test of these simulation models is fulfilled also. The simulation models take the role of a basic platform for further researches on physical implementation level.At last, studies on the control structure and strategy of the AC servo drive system is put forward, the partial functions and control structure designs of the international advanced servo drivers are analyzed, the influences on the performance of the system by the counter electromotive force of the motor is provide in details. Meanwhile, the comparative studies of the distinction of the PI and IP control structure in the tracking and the anti-jamming performance are carried out, the simulation results are verified for the correctness.
