Researching And Implementation Of Network Examination System Based On XML

Computer is being widely used in the area of educative measure and the progress of evaluate with the speeding development of computer and network technology and the rising level of informative society. The use of computer-aid evaluation in the progress of education, instruction and learning evaluation lead to the great reform of the content, means and form of evaluation. Comparing to the traditional test, network exam is cost saving and labor saving in organizing test, reading test paper and scoring, and it break through the limited of time and spatial. The use of computer in various test not only save the resources, but also increase the veracity and objectivity of scoring, and that it improve the efficiency of test work.At the present time, database is the regular way of data storage in most of the examination system. At the same time in the development of database technology, XML as a simple data description language and storage, because of its ease of use and cross-platform enables XML quickly become the common language for data exchange. In the design of examination system, we can combine XML technology with database technology, and play XML technology in the data exchange, data description and display of superiority, thereby improve system performance. In this premise, an XML-based network examination system was designed in this paper. At first, the paper introduces the applied researching of XML technology in the examination system, and proposed a design option of XML and database integration. Then, the article summary the paper-generation algorithm and methods of construction question bank. Secondly, the paper introduces the technology of realizing the system such as XML,JAVA WEB and UML. Finally, the dissertation mainly discussed the design and realization of the XML-based network examination system.
