In the area of computer graphics, since the 1980s, the simulation of the irregular nature sceneries has been a problem full of challenge and application prospects, such as smog,fire,cloud,bolt,rain and snow,chute,spoondrift,atomy,flower,grass and trees. These kinds of nature simulate have broad applications. Mostly applications include: Development of Computer Games; Production of Television Stunt; Scientific Computing Visualization; Virtual Reality System and Multimedia Teaching. In the multitudinous nature sceneries,smog belongs to distortion liquid. Its appearance is very abnormity. It doesn't have the slick exterior, and its move rules will be affected by the environment very distinctness. So,the smog's simulation has been the difficulty and hotspot of the irregular objects'simulate all along.This paper makes an in-depth study of the application of particle system in the simulation of smoke, analyzes and summing-ups the smoke simulation methods in home and abroad. And improving the arithmetic on real-time simulate of smoke based on the particle system. This paper bases the rule of smoke's diffused movement, based on the original arithmetic, we import temperature as conditions for the movement of smoke, fully reflects the effect of temperature. This paper considers the aerodynamic convection item and its impact of smoke's diffuse track. As well as smoke's move rule's change in different wind fields. Furthermore, when simulate the shade's change in course of smoke's diffuse, we use the transparency disturbance function. In the course of paint, using the method for background picture in this system to make the smoke more images, and using the button to achieve the real-time man-machine conversation.Finally, this paper designs a demo system based on Java Language and OpenGL graphics storeroom to realize the arithmetic, and gain the experimental result. The experiment proves that improved arithmetic of smoke's simulation in this paper can realize real-time effect on general PC.
