With the development of the network technology and the multimedia technology, networking video surveillance systems have been widely used in military defense, traffic monitoring, remote education, rtc.The development of conununication technology and the great improvement of microprocessors' performance lead TV technology based on analogous video surveillance systems to evolve in to network, digitalized and embedded systems. This thesis presents a design scheme for an embedded H.264 video monitoring system, and implements a steady , real-time video monitoring system based on the scheme. The server part accomplishes video capturing, image format conversion, H.264 encoder, RTP transmission. The thesis includes the following four parts:Firstly, fast development of network makes transmission of digital video information real. This thesis analyzes stream media technology and video compression coding technology. And introduces the growth of high performance DSP chips.Secondly, transporting streaming media through network must touch on transmission protocols inevitably. Real-time transport protocols are pivotal technology in the streaming media system. RTCP, Real-time Transport Control Protocol render flow control and congestion control together with RTP. RTSP, Real-time Streaming Protocol, establish and control several synchronized continuous multimedia flows. The thesis lucubrates the contents and charactors of RTP/RTCP, RTSP.Thirdly, introduce a fast intermedia synchronization scheme of streaming media based on RTP/RTCP and RTSP. In order to compress the waiting time before the presentation of first media object.Fourthly, the thesis study technologies relate to embedded video surveillance system, and design the system. We are focused on video transmission of embedded video surveillance system.The result of the great signality of practical engineering and a valuable reference for application of video communicator based on IP technology was provided. |
