Railway safety acts an important role in national economy and people's livelihood. Because of train's increasing speed and personnel operation careless. More and more trains arise tail escaping phenomenon on running. While tail escaping arise, the losing of people's living and property is very great. The department of railways is eager for some equipment can monitor and control the train while the train appears tail escaping. The project will have great benefit of society and economy ,while it has been designed success.The tail escaping on three respects was researched in this paper, firstly, analysed the specialty of the tail escaping and searched some parameters to monitor train's tail escaping, secondly, designed correct hardware and software to deal and check trail's parameters, thirdly, tested and examined result on the practice.The tail escaping was monitored in two methods: GPS(global position system) and acceleration sensor. During the train running, the GPS monitor the train's length changing mainly, the acceleration sensor monitor the train's acceleration of head & tail. While the train escapes tail, it's length and acceleration must have been changed. Through this tow methods, train's integrality can be monitored and controlled.During the project designed process, it was need to solve the following technology, such as GPS and FFSK(fast frequency shift keying) theory ,digital filtering, digital communication, information encode and decode theory , mathematics interpolating algorithm, virtual instrument and so on.
