In recent years, the global digital music market has been in a rapid growth. According to the lastest data from International Federation of the Phonographic Industry Association (IFPI), the turnover from Global digital music market doubled again to 2 billion US dollars, accounting for the music market 10% of the total turnover in 2006. Futhermore, the share of the digital music market is expected to expand to 25%. Compared with the global market, the domestic market is still in the initial development stage, but the market outlook is equally pleasant surprise. According to the Advisory Ereli market survey shows that in 2005 to 2008, the compound annual growth rate of China's digital music market will reach 47.4 percent in 2008, which is expected to exceed 8.14 billion yuan. However, many manufacturers of audio-video have been very worried about piracy on network. Compared with the embarrassing satuts that the cable network users can't adapt to be charged directly for downloading songs from Internet, most mobile phone users have authorized the payment for the value-added services.Because now there is no wireless network in providing copyright music services precedent, the project which this paper studies will be better able to meet the needs of the incoming intellectual property rights era. This paper does a deep research in digital rights management OMA DRM 1.0, and then realizing this music software based on wireless network on Symbian S60 v2.0 system.
