| With the development of mobile computering technology and wirless telecommunication technology,Moible GIS has growed from information management application to the integrated application of location-based service, mulit-media and wireless network.Field Collection System of Mobile GIS,as one application of Mobile GIS,has developed from single function of information collection to integration of GPS collection,multi-media information collection and wirelss location share.Secondary Mobile GIS Development Kits are mostly adopted in Mobile GIS software development,while Embedded Visual C++ is used as an Infrastructure Development(Non-Secondary Development)Tool for complicated Mobile GIS software product.Secondary Development leads to software without full intelligence property while EVC development requires developer to concern more on hardware driver and memory mangment which requires advance development technique and long development circle.Using.NET Compact Framework is a good balance between the above two methods,it inherits the advantage of full intelligence property of Non-Secondary Development,and provides a packaged functions of hardware driver and memory management which make the development more easy and flexible,and moreover,the.NET CF compiled software can meet the need of cross-platform. Above all,.NET Compact Framework is an effecitive and efficient solution for Mobile GIS software development.This thesis focuses its research on the design and development of Field Collection System of Mobile GIS:To meet the needs of field collection workflow is the core design idea of the system.The data system consist background map layer for reference use,navigation layer including POI for query and road network for routing,and collection layer for field collection.And the basic GIS module,navigation module,collection module and the telecommunication module are four modules of the system.To find out a new method using.NET Compact Framework in Mobile GIS development is the main purpose of the thesis.The thesis sysmaticlly introduces the key technology and development techniques in the whole system development.And finally an application sample-Moible GIS Collection System for Chongming Island Field Investigation Project with routing,cateogired collection,and photo collection and location share included is presented and applied in the whole workflow of the field collection.Based on the above two research points,the thesis presents a sample system: Chongming Island Field Collection System and detailed introduces the application of that system.The innovation of the thesis covers three points1.Using.NET Compact Framework as a new solution for Mobile GIS development2.Setting the filed collection workflow requriments as the design idea,extend the collection application which covers from start to return.(navigation, collection)3.Developing innoivative collection functions like cateogired collection, location-photo collection,and customized background maps,route planning and location share functions to assit the field collection.The Moible GIS Colletion System simplifies the collection workflow and improves the collection efficiency. |
