UWB technique has some advantages: High speed data velocity, abundant multi-path otherness, very low power consumes, moreover the realization of multi-address is also simple. These characteristics make ultra wide bandwidth become a kind of viable short distance wireless communicate technique. Because the ultra wide bandwidth's signal bound have overlap with the narrow bandwidth equipments. FCC made a restriction stipulation for the blast-off power of ultra wide bandwidth. For the sake of acquiring the expectation function under the blast-off power limited, people carried on a great deal of research and put forward many projects, one among those kinds make use of MIMO(Multiple-Input Multiple-Out-put) and UWB technique. Using MIMO technique in the UWB system has very high network credibility and velocity adaptability ability, there has been a dissimilarity with narrow bandwidth wireless correspondence system, It is much smaller than the influence of path comedown in the UWB system, Because the ultra wide bandwidth's very narrow pulse causes when multi-path spread in great quantities independence of the falling off signal weight can be distinguished, thus it can carry out valid multipath signal a cent to gather to receive. MIMO-UWB system can preferably resolves the harmful interference between codes and the interference between information alleyways, the reason lies in receiving signal have good self relativity and mutual relativity characteristic.How to choice of MIMO-UWB system's antenna has very concernment influence about the system's capability. Antenna selection can increase channel capacity in MIMO system, and can also effectively decrease the system complexity and the Radio frequency cost. Antenna selection algorithms are discussed, and a new fast algorithm is proposed based on norm and correlation of row vectors, which gets more channel capacity and has low complexity because of avoiding matrix operation. At last simulation analysis and comparisons indicates that the new algorithm is almost near to the optimum one, much better than others, when receiving antenna number is not equal to transmitting.
