Satellite Optical Communication is a important developing direction of the satellite communication technology. It has draw a lot of attention from all over the world because of its higher transmission speed and better transmission quality, many domestic and foreign research departments capitalize it as an advanced project one after another.As we know, the factor of atmosphere has an influence on FSO link between satellite and terrene, furthermore sometimes satellite or other objects may interrupt the link in communication procedure. The transmission distance is far, so that the intensity of the signal which gets an attenuation demands high intensity laser to obtain low BER rate. Channel coding technology adds some redundancies in information sequence. Then, it makes use of the restricted relationship of each other and decodes the information at the sink port. This operation adds more anti-interference ability to the information, so that the system gets more lower BER rate and coding gain.At first, this paper introduces the purpose and application of the satellite free space optical communication. Then it overview the typical research plan and development background, and specially it represents the development background of channel coding in satellite FSO system.After introducing the influence of atmosphere on FSO link, the basic concept of channel coding technique and the theory of it, in Matlab/Simulink,it analyses the performance of three kind channel technique: linear code, circular code and convolutional code base on founded coding models and the relationship between operation speed and coding technique, then presents the experiment program in case of experimental laboratory.At last, this paper performs the expirical and simulative research. It validates improvement due to the coding technique and then analyses the problem in the experiment as well as rational advice. |
