Research On Design And Production Norms Of Military Multi-Media Teaching Materials And Design And Implementation Of Its Management Tools

With the development of the information technology and its application in the military field, a new reform was occurred. In this reform, our military facing to complete the double historical task which was the construction of mechanization and information, and we also have to shoulder the sacred mission which was to win the war of information in the future. So this will produce newand high require to the troops training.Multi-media teaching material was used in military training in the early1990s. It had lots of functions and provided a way to military training. This teaching material could integrate text, graph, image, voice, video and animation, and present the information to officers and soldiers intuitively, which would provide Human-Computer interactive ,construct the effect of that one is personally on the scene and make learners produce intensive feeling of participate and operation.Military multi-media teaching material no only use to learn theoretical knowledge, technical skill, but also use in demonstrated teaching, simulated drilling and interactive training. With the development of network, it could realize to use network to complete resource sharing and proceed multi-media teaching. Besides, multi-media teaching could make learners carry out autonomic study and drill. So this teaching expanded the scale of education, progress education reform, improve the teaching effect and speed up the proceeding of the modernizing military education.With the development of the multi-media technology and multi-media drilling, especially the application and pervasion of making multi-media, military multi-media teaching material gradually matured and was proposed higher require in its design and manufacture. This research mainly contained the design and making of military multi-media teaching material. It aimed to construct a framework of making the military multi-media teaching material and try to research the corresponding management tools, which could control and monitor the proceeding of making the multi-media teaching material and ensure this procedure to successfully completion.This research began from the design and realization of the military multi-media teaching material, and analyzed the features, application area and development trends of this multi-media teaching material. Additionally, it analyzed the main problem in the procedure of design and realization by questionnaire survey. According to above research, this article also conjugated the item management theory which added the procedure of item controlling, reconstructed the framework of making this multi-media teaching material and analyzed each proceeding.In order to the successful completion of making military multi-media teaching material, realize effective management and quality control, this research established a item management platform based Web, which selected MUSQL database, and based on WINDOWS and APACHE. This platform used Jmail4.3 to send email, Software Artisans to upload documentary, Xceed Components to compress and decompress datum, OWC to produce report forms with Excel format. Besides, it also contained five modulars such as system management, item management, personal working section, resource center, and department cooperation. These modulars could realize the effective management of this platform and item resource sharing. This platform used manager certification, the limit of users' power and the gateway of Web to ensure the security of datum.In the end of this research, in order to evaluate the using effect of this platform, we invited professional technologist to test this system and used questionnaire survey. The results showed that this database system ran well and most users were satisfied. Additionally, we gained and knew users' requests by questionnaire survey.Finally, it summarized this article, manifested the new ideas of this research and proposed the future research.
