Adaptive beam-forming technology can significantly improve the performance of the antenna array, it includes: quickly forms the main lobe in the goal directions, rapidly forms nulls in the disturbance directions, forms the ultra-low sidelobe, forms the multi-beam and so on. As a result of the digital technology, the reliability and stability of the system can produce a better, and the technology can be used for radar and military anti-jamming communications and civilian mobile communications directly .High quota cost of the digital receiving and dispatching module has limited the digital beam-forming technology of universal application. However, in recent years, along with the development of electronic device technology, microwave components technology and high-speed digital processing equipment technology, digital beam-forming technology in the phased array antenna obtains more widespread attention, and its application is also no longer limited to one-dimensional array. The study of two-dimensional planar arrays adaptive digital beam-forming system will be one of the focuses of digitization array antennas.The planar array digital beam-forming algorithm is a key technology of the planar array adaptive beam-forming. This article is a study for the equilateral hexagon two-dimensional planar array digital beam-forming algorithms, which is based on the existing one-dimensional array, the ring array and two-dimensional rectangular array beam-forming algorithms. Equilateral hexagon planar array's interelements space is equal and the phase is also equal, therefore the computation must be less than rectangular array when the array element number is equal.
