When using AutoCAD, we find that drawing of V-belt pulley in mechanical design is rather complicated. We have to repeat work when drawing graphics of different size but the same drawing orders. It is undoubtedly inconvenient to design.This thesis illustrates secondary development technology for AutoCAD and analyzes the situation of secondary development for AutoCAD and secondary developmen programming languages.This thesis deeply explore the theory of drawing with parameters. Furthermore, VB language , AutoCAD VBA and AutoCAD ActiveX are introduced. We also discuss the issues of the reference of AutoCAD and the development environment and object of graphics of AutoCAD. In addition, we explain in detail creation and modification of object of graphics.TextStyles,Block,ExternalReference, DimStyle and Tolerance are also introduced.This thesis establishes a model of drawing with parameters. When developing interactive V-belt pulley drawing with parameters through the model, we establish a series of variables which restrain the other dimensions, then we develop actualize dimension-driven model which is expressed in mathematical methods. This thesis also pose a new method in which a 3Dsolid graphic can be drawn with parameters.On AutoCAD platform, We establish a human-computer interface which is better for communication. With this system, users can instantly drawing different 2D graphics of V-belt pulley as well as a 3Dsolid of V-belt pulley by inputting necessary parameters. As a result,it largely reduces the repeated work and enhances the efficiency of work.
