In the first chapter,the basic theory of Fourier transform was expounded.And in the second chapter I stated the theory of wavelet transform.In the third chapter we researched the multi-exposure image fusion based on wavelet image edge detection agrithom.At first we described two basic multi-exposure images fusion algorithms-the method based on illumination response function of the imaging system.The method based on blocking and chose by Shannon standard.By developing the second method and observing the characteristic that the multi-exposure images are very different at the boundary of the object we proposed the new multi-exposure image fusion method.First we detected the edges of the images.and got the edge image of each original image.Then we synthesis the edge images to get a new edge image.Then every rows of the original images were segmented into several sections.At last we choose the sections by Shannon standard as the sections of the fused image.We inspected and verified the algorithm by using it on two group of multi-exposure images and find that the fused image contained most of the objects of the real scene.It means that the new algorithm is effectual.
