Experimental teaching plays an important part in advanced engineering education, however, the traditional experiment equipment and experimental teaching method have restricted the improvement of experimental teaching for a long time. As an important part of experiment teaching evolution in colleges, tele-experimental teaching based upon network is an important direction of education motorization. And the invention of virtual instrument and the rapid development of network technology make the new tele-experiment via network realizable. Virtual instrument via network is the combination of virtual instrument technology and network technology. By data acquisition card, it can read experimental data into a computer, then analyze and measure the data by virtual instrument, then send out the results to long-distance client via network for experiment. Thus, the virtual instrument via network can reduce the cost of experiment equipment, improve the instrument performance and the experiment methods. This thesis, firstly, gives a brief introduction of the concept, constitution, advantage and software of virtual instrument, also included is the developing instrument, LabVIEW. then presents the three basic forms of the access to network measurement system, including analysis of their characteristics and applicable area.Secondly, take this topic as background, the thesis compares and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of C/S and B/S networking modes, thus confirms B/S mode applicable to this topic. Similarly, DataSocket software technology for measurement data transfer is adopted among the four technologies for tele-data-acquisition included by LabVIEW.In the end, based upon the brief introduction of ActiveX technology, which is developed by Visual Basic, the thesis realizes the tele-control of virtual instrument by the communication of each ActiveX control unit and the corresponding unit on local virtual instrument panel via DataSocket server. |
