An E-mail System For Intelligent Mobile Phone: Design And Implementation

In the enterprises today, the most popular way of communicating is e-mail except for traditional meeting, telephone and paper documents. E-mail is very convenient and effective for communicating. It is much widely used in modern times; quite a lot of enterprises have their own e-mail systems. But common e-mail system is not easily accessed on mobile environment, so that, many enterprises need a commerce oriented e-mail system which can be accessed anywhere and anytime.With the popularizing of mobile phones, especially the increasing of intelligent mobile phones, mobile devices begin to play an important role in web application. Smart phone e-mail system, for its advantage of no limit of times and places, supplies a quite effective information method for enterprises.Our system use specially designed web pages depending on the features of mobile phones, supporting emoticon. Based on B/S structure and ASP.NET 2.0 platform, has three parts on system structure: data tier,business logic tier,display tier, having clear interfaces between tiers. Using MS Sql Server2005 as DBMS, and packaged each data table as a data access class in business logic tier. Web server and session server use different computers. Realized a communication system without limiting of time and places through mobile communicating networks.
