| With the development of information technology, the networking trend of traditional home appliances becomes realization gradually. This thesis proposes a practical, inexpensive network appliances network system based on PLC(Power Line Carrier) communication. In this system, all the electrical home appliances have been connected together with PLC communication board, and can be controlled through the network.After comparing kinds of home appliances network schemes and considering the cost of the communication board, this thesis selects PL2102 as the PLC IC chip of the project. On basis of general analysis of PLC communication technology and channel characteristics of power line, PLC communication board has been designed. Aiming at solving the problem of slow communication speed of PL2102, A practical medium access method for network appliances communication with low speed PLC has been proposed by referring to BACnet protocol. And also an analysis of the communication timing of that method is shown.Meeting the needs of PLC signals isolation and reducing noise, network filter model has been designed. The experiment shows that it is effective in making sure that the communication is reliable.A home appliances control network has been established, a general testing has also been carried out in that network, to verification the functions and performances of the PLC communication board and network filter model. It provides a good reference for latter applications of PLC communication in home appliances network. |
