| Nowadays, with the fast development of multimedia, virtual reality and scene simulation are also in a high speed of development. Based on the new technologies of computer, image processing and network communication, virtual reality and scene simulation get much more attention and own a brilliant future both in civil applications and military applications because of their advantages in vividness, real-time and mutuality.This research comes from a program supported by Equipment Department of Navy and researches on the application of virtual reality and scene simulation on battlefield environment based on HLA (High Level Architecture). The research adopts the HLA as the framework of the system and uses the modeling tool Creator and the driver programming tool Vega Prime as the platform and compiles the program with VC++.Based on the introduction of the history and development of HLA, this thesis first researches on the architecture and theory of HLA and details the way to develop the federation of HLA. Following the six steps to develop the federation, this thesis finishes several jobs such as design the task space modeling, design the federation and members, and design the FOM (Federation Object Model) and SOM(Simulation Object Model). Then this paper analyses the characteristics of the two software tools Creator and Vega Prime, meanwhile details the key technologies used by those two software tools. Then, this paper create different models in the battlefield environment, configure simulation parameters for the battlefield environment, third write drivers for those models created by Creator and the last complete the settings in the compiling environment VC++. Among those jobs, this paper pays more attention to the models creating and drivers programming. Those different models such as terrain, battleship, missile and tank with drivers make the effect of the simulation of battlefield environment look vivid and pretty good. |
