Design And Implementation Of The Configuration And Maintenance Management System Of SDH

As transmission technology of ground floor of communication network, Synchronous digital transmission technology is to develop extremely fast in recent years ,and it is also one of the ripest transmission technology at present. China's communication demand of bandwidth very heavy, several large telecom operators have build a batch of SDH transmission Networks which cover in extensive range and have enormous transmitting capacity. But restricted by the various conditions, the transmission Network is a complicated one which containing various apparatus producer and apparatus type. In the transmission network, each producer has offered one's own network management systems to control its apparatus, this way is basically feasible in initial stage of construction. But the inflation rapidly with the network scope, it is difficult to manage transmission network in terms of disperse management.This paper is based on a real project of Network and Grid Group .The project co-operation with a communication company ,use of its equipment and software development platform .Goal is to develop a set of SNMP-based synchronous digital transmission network management system .The author as a developer of team ,participated in the hole development process.First ,the paper introduced the research background and meaning of the subject , study the current situation both at home and abroad .Secondly analyzed the principle of network management, Main research in SNMP's principle and application, overview the management technology of TMN and SDH .then had design and realized a concentration / distributed SDH network management system based on SNMP technology , Including the overall physical framework, detailed procedure etc..Finally highlights and analysis of the design and implementation of configuration management and maintenance management capabilities , including functional design, design of data structure and the detailed design of function, etc., and gives the testing and evaluation of the system.
